Make an... "aim real-time trajectory"

Get help using Construct 2

Hi,

How could I make a "preview real-time trajectory" like, let's say... in Peggle.

I tried a gas factory method (with a trajectory composed of many physics elements, updated for each frame.. and it didn't work very well), but I think the very best way is a mathematical approch...

If someone had tested successfully something like that and accepted to share his knowledges... I'd be thankful forever

If you wanted to do something like a line of flight, you could use Rojohounds canvas plugin using a curved path.
For example if you were using a bullet, you could have the bullet set angle towards a position, and you could use that position to set the offset for the curve.
That with the gravity setting for bullet should work pretty good.

Any examples of this "preview real-time trajectory"?

I was able to modify this example to suit my needs: Parabola/Tracjectory tracing with Physics / Box2D.

There have actually been a few threads about this in the past, with capx posted. Try a forum search.

Oops, @TheHen 's link is what I was thinking of. Never mind.sqiddster2013-07-15 22:04:28

Honestly this is why I love Construct2, the forums is like having a course in game design at your finger tips, thanks for the help.
