Make things go boom and flash!

Get help using Construct 2

Hi, I've only been using this program for a day or two and I have a question.

In my platformer, there are blocks that you can destroy with a crosshair that's supposed to be like a gun. How do I make it so that when the blocks get destroyed, an animated explosion happens with sound? Do note that I'm awful at graphic design and can't draw one myself.

Also, how do I make it so that when someone clicks, the crosshair (cursor) flashes a little bit and maybe a shell ejects out of it?

I will upload my game if anyone needs me to, thank you so much!

This is one of those problems where it will take more time to explain the solution than actually do it :)

Here's the .capx, I did everything you were asking for except the explosion, but that's because I don't have any audio files on my computer! You simply use the audio object to create the sound as an action in the OnClick event :)

The sprites have the following properties:
player: Platformer (Default)
breakable: Solid, Physics (Default, Default)
solid: Solid, Physics (Default, Immovable set to Yes)
particles: Spray Cone: 360, One-Shot
Sprite: Flash
