Something like that would be very easy to do using construct 2 as you have the movement and bullet behaviors already there. You would just need the animations and a few effects.

Judging on this game based on the loading bar and the pixel arts, it's seem developed with flixel or Flash Punk.

Heh i used to play this game all day in it's first version. It's very addictive. It's perfectly doable in C2 if you have some skills. But it's nothing out of this world. I personally feel confident of making any kind of 2D game but i currently lack the graphics skills :X

Ok, so I tried to make a game like this, but then was way more inspired by Mikeys adventure, so I'm combining both. Already have a test level, will post it soon.
