Discussion and feedback on Construct 2

Hi,

I was reading this tutorial on how to make iOS web app:
Making an iOS web app with

In the tutorial, it mention this:
iPhone 3 and earlier: 320x480
iPhone 4+: 640x960

I did test it with my iPhone 4 on iOS5 but only got the 320x480 resolution. Does anyone know how come? Is it related to Safari?

I think it's because they render a screen resolution of 320 x 480 but the screen is actually larger. I found this out myself too as I have a new iPad and when I use Construct 2 to get the screen size it says smaller than it actually is I.e. the older resolution. I think only certain apps at the moment do larger sizes and Safari doesn't I'm afraid. It's a real bother! :)

Hmm, maybe the tutorial is wrong, was the hi-res screen only in the iPhone 4S? Or was it iPhone 4 as well?

From Apple specs, iPhone 4 is 960-by-640 resolution with retina display.
