Making multiple menus on single layout

Get help using Construct 2

I wanted to create a strategy game that uses multiple menus - like research, building menu, moving unit menu etc, best full screen.

I thought about the implementation of this plan by using multiple layers, but i got a problem - through layer is transparent, i still can click objects on it. I mean i can click objects from research menu from map etc.
So is there any way to make a layer or objects on them "disabled"?

Add another condition in your interaction events that checks if the layer is visible. If it's invisible, then the actions won't run.

Also enabling and disabling groups with events can come in handy. If menu is visible - enable menu group and disable game groups/events or other menus goups/events
I told my dentist I had trouble with my teeth and asked her to fix it without looking in my mouth..
