How do i do it?! I want to make a character be able to move left and right with an animation of his body parts actually moving. I need to know!

Select the sprite, and in the property grid, under Movements, add a movement. If you're new, try the Ghost Shooter tutorial here:

It will help you get used to a lot of the basics.

Well right now i need to know animations. Not movement. Like making the legs move when it walks. I'm not all that new to the program. Just the Forums.

Well, if you've made the animations already (this is just importing the frames in sequence, if you have the frames already you're fine here) then you need to use the 'Play Animation' and 'Set Animation' events. I think that if you use Play Animation on a constant event (like 'Always' or 'Key is down') then it will keep playing the first frame.

Make sure you have the animation bar enabled under the Home tab. That had me confused for a bit when I first started this program.
