I was wondering if there is a better way to merge two or more existing game builds. My friends and I are working on a game and we are each trying to handle certain parts. When it comes to merging them all together at the end of the week, we run into HUGE problems with bugs and it takes all weekend. It seemed almost counter productive.

We then changed it to where we would give our work to one person but that takes even longer. I was wondering If any one has dealt with a situation like this and how they fixed it.

Thank you in advance

As far as I've always heard, you should set up SVN (source control) for your project so that things are synced essentially as you go. Ashley wrote a good tutorial on setting it up--and it sounds like it might really alleviate some headaches for you.

Yeah, use SVN. Ashley's tutorial on it could use some revision though...
