Just a simple example for how to use mesh distort...but I plan to make it easier to use by adding built in functions and stuff

I would imagine that they would move the texture itself across the surface of the sprite (rather than displacing the sprite) but I can't test because I'm not on my Construct computer.

U and V are called the texture coordinates - they define which point of the texture graphic is associated with that x,y point. This allows you to change which part of the texture is shown at that point - rather than where the point itself lies. I can understand if its confusing though, because so long as the UV point is the same as the XY point, the texture displays undistorted.

If you look carefully you'll see the picture, but it's very light.
Set the layer to multiply to see what's happening.

Edit the "Set relative displacement at" action and change the opacity from 1 to 100, then change the rightmost numbers in "displace x" and "displace y" from 0.05 to 5.

Thanks Rojo :)

I didn't understand the expressions there so changing the layer effect was my 1st thought :p

Looks better your way though hehe.
