Microsoft Hololens

Discussion and feedback on Construct 2

Post » Mon Jun 22, 2015 2:37 pm

I think a Construct 2 game would "work" in Hololens, in the sense that it could operate within a window, but: would one be able to build a Construct 2 game that takes advantage of the augmented reality aspects of Hololens?

Uhhh you could play a C2 game on your wall I guess. Without 3D I don't see any other options.

Im super excited about Hololens, if C2 could be played with hololens on the wall (2d) that would be awesome. 3D wont be possible im guessing.

Safest bet is Unity. In all cases you must learn a scripting language.

Without 3D, I don't really see the point of C2 on Hololens, except the wall thing :D

You do NOT need 3D to take advantage of holo tech :

Great comments! I know that Unity will work (from what I've read); I was just wondering if Construct 2 and others are doing something to gear up for Hololens. Thanks for the links!
