Motion Tween?

Is there a way to make a similar effect to Motion Tween in Flash?

See Flash Tween in Action

For that example this is what I did:

//Not visible
Frame 1 (scale 0%, opacity 0%)
//Visible
Frame 10(scale 75%, opacity 75%)
//Zooming slowly
Frame 30 (scale 100%, opacity 100%)
End of animation, not visible
Frame 35 (scale 0%, opacity 0%)

Yes you can do that using events. However you really need an editor with keyframes, or the like, to make it viable.

Currently C2 itself is not set up to allow making an editor that the sdk can use... I'm sure Ashley will come up with something eventually.

What you described is fairly easy, but what is usually referred to as tweening usually involves interpolation of angles, size, and position.

So short answer is yes if you know how.
If you don't, then not now, but a solution is coming.

Eh, I'm no Yoda but here is a way to do tweening:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5426011/examples%208/tween.capx

In a nutshell I used another sprite to act as a keyframe. In the events the two closest keyframes are selected and the Sprites are linearly interpolated from key to key.

EDIT:
Here is an simple example just doing what you asked:

and for fun I was tinkering with my original example:

Thanks! Iv used your 'Tween Simple.capx' (Oops! Try Again)to achieve a Card Flip effect. Is there a way to make the sprite flip to reveal the other side? Im trying to switch between frames in the animation editor, from front to back.
