Movement & Animation, how to go up?

Get help using Construct 2

Hello, I just started to work with construct 2 but I'm already quite some time stuck at this point.
My character can move up, down, left and right and plays animations with it.
But when he goes up there is no animation.

(frame 1 = idle)

I would guess that either your "walking up" animation is playing but is not looped, or has it's speed set yo 0
As long as I can move left, right and fire, I'm Happy...

I changed that, if he first walks up then the animation works but when he switches to another direction and then wants to go run up again it doesn't work.

I didn't look at the capx but a trigger once should work under each of your animation direction conditions, otherwise your angle may not be hitting exactly 270 to trigger the event, in that case use "is between angles" instead...
As long as I can move left, right and fire, I'm Happy...

Set your directions to 8 and angles to 90 degree intervals in the 8 direction properties bar on the left.should work.
As long as I can move left, right and fire, I'm Happy...

I found it, I needed to be -90 degrees. But thanks for your help anyway.
