Movement similar to Castle Crashers

Get help using Construct 2

I have been expirmenting with 8 directions and custom movement and I cannot figure how to make the movement similar to castle crashers to the game I am making.

It's not easy and will take a lot of tweaking, but there have been many who tried. Just search the forum for 8-direction with jump.

I guess your best bet would be to create a floor-sprite with 8-directions behaviour to which the player sprite is pinned and on jump unpin the player and have a jump action. When the player lands again, repin the player.
I told my dentist I had trouble with my teeth and asked her to fix it without looking in my mouth..

@lmchucho is very complicated to make a real jump instead of fake jump which is using animation?

@Joannesalfa Well, in 2D games there is no "real" jump. In the platform behavior the sprite just moves on the Y axis and the same does the animation in this example. If you have a GOOD animation, not like mine, you wont notice the difference IMO.
