My favorite movies:

-Primer
-Moon
-He was a Quiet Man
-The Machinist
-District 9

Yes, after watching Primer I became obsessed with mindf*** movies.

Here's some Hindi(Indian) movies that I like, probably because they are better than 99% of crap that is released every Friday.

-Aamir(A remake of 'Cavite', but still pretty awesome)
-Khosla Ka Ghosla
-A Wednesday

I like slowed paced, life based East Asian cinema. If you can't stand slow paced or black and white, you won't like 70% of these. Some of them my be inappropriate for those fortunate enough to be called young-in's, so check the ratings :D :
-Red Beard (???) Japanese
-Suzhou River (???) Chinese
-Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter... and Spring (?, ??, ??, ?? ??? ?) Korean
-To Live (??) Chinese
-To Live (???) Japanese
-Failan (???) Korean
-Twilight Samurai (???????) Japanese

So many good movies out there...

Cant really seem to make myself sit down and watch stuff I've seen before like i used to, but if I were to make a desert island list it would be:

Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon
Dune
Akira
Ninja Scroll
LOTR
The Watchers
Equilibrium

Blue Velvet
Apocalypse Now
Planet of the Apes (the original, not the terrible Tim Burton remake)
The Big Lebowski
Fargo
They Live
The Dark Crystal
Dead Alive
Little Shop of Horrors

Many of these I've seen so many times I can quote all the lines from beginning to end while I'm watching them. And more often than not when I'm hungry, instead of saying "I'm hungry" I'll say "we go to pancakes house" in a thick Scandinavian accent (quoting Gaear Grimsrud in Fargo) which I'm sure is not the least bit annoying.
