multilevel health bar

Get help using Construct 2

I am making a top down shooter game with multiple levels. I want to implement a health bar. If i want the player to have the health bar visible at all times do i simply need to have it be created on every layout at the exact same place every time. or is there a more streamlined way to accomplish my goals. Any suggestions and/or solutions are appreciated.

You might want to take a look in the tutorial section if you haven't.
https://www.scirra.com/tutorials/all
Use ctrl+f and search for health. You will see many healthbar related tutorials.
It's time for me to return the favor :)

I have looked there is no advice in the tutorials to the effect of a health-bar that follows through on multiple layouts.

Have you tried making it persistent(global)?
Click on your "health bar" sprite and go to your properties. Right at the top(4th item) it says Global.
Set it to Yes and tell us if that solves your issue.
It says on the description : global objects are not destroyed at the end of a layout.
G.L.
I hope it helps a bit though.

im not pro at construct but i think the variable of the health bar could be global and when a new level you could create a new health bar, something like that xD

Edited... yea the same thing i think
