Anyone remembers this game from MS-DOS? Gorillas.BAS in Html5 :D

Image

It's buggy as hell and currently you just click to throw a banana at the direction of the mouse but the basics and especially the multiplayer work :)

The Host can regenerate the level with R should it make a bad level (and it will :P)

Room can't be changed, two peers max...

Love this game... I'm working on a scorched earth clone (physics shooter like gorillas) my self. Nice job!

I love this and tried to a scorched earth variant too.

if it's not a trade secret, how do you create the destroyable buildings?

Thanks guys! :D

As for the destruction...

Normally i would use the Canvas Plugin by R0j0hound but in this case i just have an object called bananahole set to destination out and the layer set to force own texture -> blends out the buildings

->banana is not overlapping bananahole
-> banana is overlapping building = collision -> make new hole

simple but it works :D
