Discussion and feedback on Construct 2

hi guys, well, i'm trying to use the example multiplayer real time game on construct2, me and my friend are trying to join on the same room to play, but when i'm trying to join on my friends room, it appears there is 2 people connected, but after a while i'm kicked from the room, can anyone help me?

@Ashley it seems that the multiplayer examples only work in LAN. the user tries to connect i can see the two peers, and after sometime the peer is kicked.

@Ashley It actually seems like there is some bug causing only LAN gaming to work. I've opened up all ports (DMZ), ran without router/firewall, ran from 2 different 3G networks. Nothing works, except LAN.

@joelbelo, @Maisey - you are both describing what is most likely connectivity restrictions in your own networking hardware/software. Read the tutorial I linked to above, it covers some of them. Some router types such as those found in corporate business networks simply block all peer-to-peer connections by their design in a way that is difficult to work around. The problem is still in your networking setup, not the multiplayer engine, which can usually connect through whenever allowed by the network configuration.
