Problem Description
signal server down

Attach a Capx
Use multiplayer demo template

Description of Capx
Should connect to the signalling server in order to setup a connection for multiplayer.

Steps to Reproduce Bug
  • Preview template
  • Enter alias and click join

Observed Result
[object-event] appears as message, and no connection.

Expected Result
Getting a connection

Affected Browsers
  • Chrome: yes
  • FireFox: yes

Operating System and Service Pack
win 8 64b

Construct 2 Version ID
R164


Seems like the server is down.

I can confirm this, i tried with the template and also with my own game to connect to the signalling server,
it seems to be down, at least i always get disconnected from it.

Maybe an auto reboot every 6 hours is necessary ! :D

Probably too many people wanted to try multiplayer after r164 release, and we cooked signaling server ;)

Closing, please don't report signalling server outages as bugs. Some downtime is to be expected during the beta.
