And just a little remark, on Firefox the game was having some "hiccups" on the framerate every two seconds or so
Could you send me the .capx to have a play with? It might be a garbage collector issue - but the engine recycles destroyed objects as well! If you destroy an object then create an instance of the same type, the engine re-uses the last destroyed instance. It keeps a cache so up to about 30 instances can be recycled. So that shouldn't be an issue, but if I play around I might be able to spot something else I can do.

@mrsponkie
I didn't submit the app to the iTunes, HTML5 isn't very fast at the moment, and this was just an attempt to make a funny project and learn about C2.

@Ashley
Can you edit the first post to add the link to the project?! I can't seem to edit it anymore. Thanks!

I've done some more GC optimisations for the next build. The runtime in the next release now really does create tiny amounts of garbage. I think if it's still choppy, Firefox need to improve their collector. I've read Firefox have plans to make significant improvements there, so hopefully with their new release cycle we won't have to wait long (Firefox 7 was out today!).

the problem is that every new release of firefox, always i have many problems with plugin updates. Example, i have firebug and always it don't work in the new release.
For this reason many people simply don't update their firefox version till it won't run in the right way.

@mrsponkie, that's true but the majority of users seem to stay up to date. Check the adoption stats for Firefox here: http://gs.statcounter.com/#browser_version-ww-weekly-201133-201138 - while extension compatibility is a genuine problem, I guess most FF users don't use many extensions and are happy to stay up to date. So IMO we should focus on getting C2 to run well with the very latest version only.

Also from release 6.0 the extension system has changed in such a way that new updates will be made easier.

I also use firebug, and it's like one of the first extensions to be updated.
In fact, it was even updated 2 days ago, whereas FF got updated today only.
