hi guys,
i just started using construct 2 and developed my first game,

Tank wars

destroy enemy tanks with yours.

updated the game
features added

  • primary and secondary weapon for both player and enemy
  • auto aim and fire mode
  • changed bricks to tree
  • added radar
  • improved the tank movemnt

Good work out there, tank movement needs some improvement though, in my opinion. And also white edges on bricks don't look good. The rest is okay, it is your first game so keep working on it and it will be fun to play!

There seems to be a glitch where the tank would teleport a tank length to the side, and sometimes pop back again.
Maybe I'm causing it?

thanks for the suggestion i will replacing brick with other assert so the white thing will not be a problem.

how do i improve movement i am using 8 direction behaviour?

my game is running quite smooth on firefox when compared to google chrome

Yeah that's definitely not how a tank should handle.
Ill be releasing tank game soon to arcade, be sure to check that out to give you a feel of it.(Global Tanks 2D)

But yeah your movement should be smooth and it's a tank probably should be slower, but fix the movement first. Not sure how to fix it but I know that I used Car behaviours rather than 8 movement.

thanks for the suggestion i switched the 8 direction with car behaviour and changed the origin point on tank it really improved movement of the tank.

and also decreased speed of tank
