Nice step, and don't care about the reviews they think game design is easy.

Reminds me of SAS: Zombies
The moderators are corrupt and ban for no reason, especially that condescending neckbeard asshole Kyatric. The forums are filled with fanboys.

@A0Nasser - yes, they do indeed think that game design is easy.

It took me close to a year of continuous work (by myself, and creating all of my own assets) to complete the game.

I also had to do all of the marketing for months, before I even stood a chance of reaching on Steam.

At least it was one unforgettable learning experience - and it gave me respect for the WORK that is involved in creating a game.

But if they think that game design is easy - they are more than welcome to try - lol

Hey @vlweb3d,

It must be awesome to be on Steam. Good luck with sales!

How did you manage to get your game on Steam without Greenlight ?

@bilgekaan - There's no way that I know of to get your game on Steam without GreenLight.

I had to wait 3 months before approval - and during that time, I had to do allot of marketing.

Great work!! I've been through the same and I know exactly what it is like. I don't think there's any kind of school that can teach this kind of thing, so it really is a great learning experience like you said.

Good luck with your next projects!

Honestly, game creation takes too long - and the results for me are ...... mixed, at best.

My real job is as a graphic /web design lecturer. I teach my classes and I get paid - in other words - immediate results.

I also do "making of" graphic design videos, that I put on YouTube - and I'm getting good results from there also.

So I don't think I'll be making another game.

This was just one of those goals that I set out years ago - "to make at least one video game before I die" - and as far as I'm concerned, that goal has been accomplished.

So I'm moving on with the rest of my life now.

Bye.
