Need help with strings

For questions about using Classic.

I'm working on a game where the player has 4 different animations for holding 4 different weapons. The weapons are controlled by a global variable, weaponanim. I'm using events to do the animations, and I need a string which basically says to play animation WalkingN (where N is weaponanim)

Should work with just:

Play animation: "Walking" & global('weaponanim')

Does this all work with the bone movement behavior?

i.e. you're player's walking animation is controlled by bone movement and you use the technique mentioned above to change the player's arm.

I guess I'm asking if a bone can have multiple animation frames. Sorry, I would try this myself but the .cap I would use is involved in a bug report that doesn't allow me to add bones to the body sprite.
