New CocoonJS plugin from Ludei! Open source!

Discussion and feedback on Construct 2

I set up all the leaderboard events except the event which will submit the score. Where should I put the event "submit"? When the player dies? Or when the new layout with Game Over screen comes?
Basically, how do I send the game's score to my leaderboard?

Right now, I tried experimenting with submiting the score when the player dies, and logging in and 'showing' the leaderboard on the Game Over Screen when the player clicks a button. The game works normal until I touch the button which is supposed to launch the leaderboard, as soon as I touch the button, the game crashes.

Can any one explain me what is happening?

Does anyone know if Cocoonjs + mopub has the latest SDK support for Admob? Just wondering because of how google is going to be phasing out ad support for old admob sdks in August

Which one is the old AdMob?

Atm I'm working with the 2nd one.

Edit: There was also the 2nd one but an older version. I'm confused because AdSense can use to monitor AdMob Ads with lots of reporting features.

yeah you should be using apps.admob.com, but I'm actually talking about the version of the Admob download SDK that is integrated into app, not the Admob version of the web interface

from an email I received from Admob:

so the admob SDK needs to have the advertising ID included

It will be a matter for the CocoonJS cloud compiler, I guess its such a big deal that Ludei won't suddenly ignore it, else we can't upload apps to the Store heh.

Hi everybody. I just fixed the Fullscreen preloading and Showfullscreen bug. You can get the files here:

Just replace the original files. So far no error except the annoying "jquery.equalheights.js" error in alert window. I dont think this will effect anything if you are using canvas and not webview. I dont know why they put it in though..

Ludei just updated the compiler to 2.0.1, I've just tested my game on it and so far it runs fine. Also the banner Ad works and auto refreshes itself like in 1.4.7. This is using the default CJS plugin from C2 v1.7.1 (most recent beta).

I had trouble with compiler 2.0.0 with the default CJS plugin, it would not show banner Ads.

CJS 1.4.7 has a rare crash issue on a lot of devices. I'll have to play test 2.0.1 more but I did play test 2.0.0 a lot and it never once crashed.

Edit: After many hours of playing on the tablet today, no crashes yet. Good sign. :)

Ads with admob and mopub aren't handled correctly, and may not appear. If more ad networks are configured in mopub, those will be served.
In App Purchases: We've experienced some situations where android store didn't retrieve correctly the list of available items in the store.
Samsung Galaxy Tab devices crash due to SIGILL.

We are working on all of these bugs in order to solve them and create a new release asap. Sorry for the inconveniences."
