Ethan, Safari for me also seems really slow (on PC), isn't there a version of IE for Macs? Don't have to do this, but would be interesting to see how that would run it.

It's not available for osx. I've looked on the Microsoft site and it's vista and 7 only.

IE9 is a potential client for HTML5 Games, but what will happen about WebGL? Microsoft considered this is a harmful aganist security

The Intel IGP performance is concerning. I know their driver support is generally poor, but the vast majority of laptops have either an Intel IGP or an AMD IGP, and neither run well.

Although at least the AMD ones can be improved a bit with some digging for drivers.

Intel graphics chips have always been crap in my experience. Maybe they're so slow the Classic runtime couldn't go any faster at the same fullscreen resolution (it's a lot of pixel pushing after all). Or maybe the drivers are so poor browser makers have blacklisted them to prevent crashes (I wouldn't be surprised).

I advise anyone looking to buy a new laptop/computer to make an effort not to buy anything with an Intel graphics card! There's usually a nVidia or AMD card option and they're miles better.

Yea probably the low fps I'm getting is because of the graphic card..
