I just tested capx file with touch object on my iPad2. With some objects works perfectly, with some really amazing result. For example - if I touch long rectangular in the middle it will automatically move 40-50 pixels up or left top diagonal around 50-60 pixels.

I repeat - not with all objects. I strictly copied all events. On laptop works excellent. On ipad - not so perfect. Is there any idea how to fix it?

I found a mistake. There is a correct file for Drag and Drop with Touch object:

drag_and_drop_touch.capx

Hi, second day using Construct 2, here. I took Newt's example file and copied everything exactly (as far as I can figure), but my Sprite doesn't drag and drop like Newt's does. Can someone take a look at my file and tell me what I'm doing wrong? TIA.

You have change the touch objects preferences to use mouse.
Click the touch object, preferences are over to the top left.
But you would be better off using the drag and drop behavior.

Ah, makes sense. I'll give it a shot when I get home.

As for the Drag and Drop behavior, I have been messing around with that but haven't been able to get it to work properly. Even the examples I've downloaded have it where when I drag the item it creates a trail of the Sprite behind it, and doesn't just move the one instance of it. But, I'm sure I'll figure it out in time as I become more comfortable with the program.

Wanted to use this, but the drop box links are broken :(

This was before we had the drag and drop behavior.

I was looking around and did not see that, well I guess I know what I will be using today! Thank you very much!
