Friend is getting this error message when he tries to make new application/game or load old one.
Any ideas how to fix? We tried rebooting and it didnt help.

What video card do they have? If they have something really really old, they might just need a new computer. Construct needs a certain amount of VRAM to run.

Well construct worked him nicely like few days ago but he got this error when he tried that program.
[quote:awwkeftf]"Construct encountered an error in the display engine. The Error code was: 0x8876086c (An invalid call was made)[/quote:awwkeftf]

And video card: ATI Radeon 9550 (RV350)

I have the following:
Device name: ATI Radeon 9550 / X1050 Series
Pixel shader: 2
Estimated VRAM: 253 MB
Motion blur: Yes

Perhaps the drivers need updating?

It used to work? What changed in between? Drivers updated or something? Maybe try reinstalling DirectX? If it used to work, the best I can assume is something else broke it...

It's way more likely that it's drivers, Direct-X or some other VRAM hog than Construct; the best I can suggest if it doesn't go away is a reformat :(.
