number of objects

For questions about using Classic.

How do you see how many objects you have on a single layout? I dont see anywhere where it shows that.

Under the "System" section of the "System" object(heh), there's an 'Object Count' expression.

thanks for the quick reply, so I can only see how many objects there are at runtime? not in the editor?

As far as I can tell, there isn't. Maybe you should suggest it to the devs. :)

Run your project in Debug mode, it gives you an object count.

I just checked this out, and the ObjectCount expression seems broken. So that'll be fixed for the next build.

Possibly the easiest way to do this would be to have something in the status bar when a selection is made, eg: "110 objects selected".

Then you could hit CTRL-A if you wanted to check, and see how many there are in total.
