I'm exporting nw 10.5 and running c2 r196.2. Butter smooth....
I only occasionally visit - I'm learning C# for Unity, but c2 is still a respectable game engine imo....

I tried it, and so far so good to be honest. Not single jag. I'm using latest stable.

Everything is running butter smooth.

I don't know what kind of cabbage you guys are running, my game is pretty smooth save for some jerky terkyness when my character is jumping.
Using the latest beta.

I guess that in 2017 there will be stable v1.00.0 :)

As if, it'll probably be in v0.00.000.-100 pre-alpha by then, with all it's features broken and Google now named Skynet while it destroys all humanity.

Look on the bright side two years to fine tune a game that is already complete - sorta like enforced quality control. . . . way to go Google . . . :) :)
If it can be done, someone on the web will show you how to do it!

Sticking with 10.5 for now. Runs beautifully. If achievements don't work on Steam, people will just have to get over it.

I tried it couple of times more on bigger levels, and its smooth as never before. Not even single jag at start of the layout. Will keep you posted though.

10.5 works fine, so the question is, why update?

I recall seeing some people complaining about some bugs with the 10.5 build (I think it was related to form controls but I am not sure), for them, updating was sort of necessary, also, 64 bit support (but losing XP support I think).

But I agree with you completely that if it does not bring anything worth it, staying at the same version is fine for now.

I checked the performance of 0.12.0-alpha3 before release and it was perfectly smooth here - hardly a jank visible.

Staying on old versions is not really a viable long-term strategy, since you will not get any of the new features or other performance improvements of future Chromium updates.
