Object not destroying when only slight collision

Get help using Construct 2

Hi
I have set a sprite to destroy when it collides with another sprite. Both sprites are PNG format hence they have transparent backgrounds. When they collide the sprite is not destroying unless it is a full on hit where the sprite goes in quite far overlapping however when there is an over lap but to not a large extent the sprite isnt destroyed. Could anybody please provide an solution to this?

I'm going to ask the obvious but have you adjusted the collision polygons to suit the points of collision you require or is your game using the default Polys (which iirc tend to be very tight around the opaque parts of transparent png's).

So thats what that button does... haha thanks used that before actually, not used c2 in a while though :)
