If anyone is interesten in using it:
http://www.riftenabled.com/admin/app/151
That is a HTML5 Occulus Rift library,
maybe anyone want to implement that to C2,
so we can enjoy Occulus Rift in our game.

Occulus Rift = 3D
Construct 2 = 2D

You would probably need to add a depth for each object and even then we only would experience paper slices everywhere. Could be a nice effect with Occulus, but nowhere near as cool as native 3D-games in OR imo.mindfaQ2013-12-23 22:55:24

Wow, awesome! I wonder if it would work with one of the 3d plugins...Arima2013-12-23 23:02:19

@mindfaQ it's general game design sub-forum, not construct 2 related sub-forum.

That's nice, it would work with webGL 3d games.

Like mindfaQ said, occulus and construt are not really compatible, but it's good news in general because it shows two promissing technologies for the futur joined together. I got to test the occulus on team fortress and hawken (you can find them on ebay, going around $400) and I must admit I was blown away, you actualy try to dodge bullets with your heads. I really hope it keeps spreading. And John Carmack leaving id software to go to occulus is definitely a good sign IMO :)OlivierC2013-12-25 22:33:40

The fact that it requires a browser plugin is disappointing. Why even bother making an Oculus game in HTML5 if you need a plugin?
