.ogg not working / crash on preview

For questions about using Classic.

Last I checked Xaudio2 can play .ogg files. I just added a few to my game and they weren't playing when they were supposed to. I went to preview the samples in the project bar and construct crashed. Now It crashes everytime I try to preview an .ogg. I added the samples to the files folder btw, not sounds.

Anyone else have this problem? Should I try loading these samples externally?

edit: Nevermind that didn't work either.. I guess I can try to mass convert them to .wav. Blah.

I think the previewing sound files from the project bar doesn't work with ogg files. The file should be able to play just fine in your game. To play ogg files use "Play music from resource".

Hmm... so it doesn't...
If you use the resource plugin to extract the ogg files. Then play extracted file with "autoplay file", then it works.
