One-sprite destructible terrain

Get help using Construct 2

Post » Tue Sep 24, 2013 7:39 pm

I know, it's ugly, but still pretty usable. I've tried to make it like in this tutorial for Game Maker but there is some troubles (Scirra doesn't have "other" description for objects.)

Well, it works, but maybe you can find more efficient solution then my? :)

Very nicely done! Just need to think of a way to have the texture work well with the blocks, and then work it into a game :)

A reasonably more efficient thing to do would be to make use of Functions, e.g.

If your vision so exceeds your ability, then look to something closer.

@FMistakes

My pleasure.

There are other ways and efficiencies that could be used, but at least you get the gist.
If your vision so exceeds your ability, then look to something closer.
