Optimization (fade out=destroy vs system wait=destroy)

Hi Everyone,

I have a question regarding optimization.
I use a lot of "on fadeout finished = destroy object"
would it be better perfomance wise to use "system wait 2 seconds = destroy object"

What is best?

They are different.
On fade out finished-->destroy object destroys it after FADE OUT.
System wait is not an event. It can be used in an event and after wait, you can destroy the object.
So system wait is used for events while fadeout destroy is used for fadeout behaviour.

Thanks for the answer Doc Ai,

But i used the fade behavior on the objects i want to destroy after a certain amount of time.
However i also found out the the system wait time is pretty good at this.

Im just wondering whats the best one to use perfomance wise.

Im not really using the fade behavior for the "fading" effekt. But just as a means to destroy that particular object after a certain amounts of time..

Then use system wait.
