Optimize admob ads preload to not slow down the game

Hi, using tips of a construct 2 post, I optimize my app so much, and now is fastest, but for example, when I load a level, I have a "preload banner ad" action, and when you die on the level, "show banner ad" action, but the "preload banner ad" action, makes the app slow down the load of the level for a seconds, and if you don´t use the action, the level load fast.
Can I optimize this?

i am having the same issue. Without admob loading ad, my game runs at 50fps consistently. When ad loads, it runs between 30~40 fps.
any optimizations i can do?

You only need to use "Preload Banner Ad" event in your project once. In my project, I use this event at the start of my main menu screens.


Use "Show Banner Ad" and "Hide Banner Ad" events to show and hide the banner ads. It's quicker than using "Preload" everytime.
