Organize and Compression

What's the best way to organize and compress to .exe?

I use -

New Direct X game
I have one sprite with stand, run, jump, fall animations.
One background plain color.
Color depth low. Palette consist of 8 colors.
Sprites are in .PNG format.
Sprites no bigger than 50x50.

So far I have no events.
Using default platform behavior.

Some how when I export to .exe it ends up over 2mb.

Construct's basic coding and any shenanigans programming stuff it has that is required for the game to run is what occupies that space
