I'm not trying to defend OUYA, notice that editor if gave it a bad review.

For example, GAME SELECTION, Too few games and Existing games aren't very good are totally irrevelant.

Interesting. In my mind, this is almost good news for C2 developers, as the market is terribly under-saturated.

Game selection isn't the console's own fault. But I can see where the criticism come from, unfortunately.

Eh, I'm kind of disappointed in the review - they reviewed a prerelease unit, and their biggest complaints are the lack of games and the ui, both of which will very likely change before the console is actually released. They should have treated it as a preview instead.

Irrespective of this review, I do have a feeling the Ouya is going to be another Gizmondo...I don't want it to be, but that's how it's looking, I'm afraid.

As long as I can move left, right and fire, I'm Happy...

Have to agree, I really can't picture the target audience of the device.

I'd be tempted to say that the main audience for that console is hackers/developers.

That's how I felt it already during the kickstarter phase.
It seemed to me the most enthusiastic reaction came from people who were like "it's a console for indies, let me make game for console and live my dream".

At least, as far as devkits went, that was the targeted audience and I dare to think it was quite successful on that point.
