I would like to start the search for a 2D pixel artist and animator for my next Construct 2 project. This is a paid position. If you are interested, please send samples and a description of yourself and prices to [email protected], as well as posting a reply on this thread. Thank you!

Hi Mike!

If you are looking for 2D artist /animator, you may want to consider hiring the services of Animation Studios. I recommend these two studios based on the quality of work and fees.

Animation Outsourced Studios --> animationoutsourced(dot)com

Explaininja Studios --> explaininja(dot)com

Hope this helps.

regards,

@jomischwartz

After looking at them it seems they are the same studio using two different names, is this correct?

For pixel art specific jobs you may want to consider looking at a pixel art dedicated forum like Pixel Joint. They have a jobs page like this.

@digitalsoapbox
I thought raster graphics was when you use 3d models for 2d art, is it not? Maybe I mistaken the term them, Lol

The two main image types are Raster & Vector. Raster is the same as saying Bitmap graphics - that is, any image not made from vector-based data: Illustrator, Flash vector art, maybe .RIP graphics for you other old-timers/etc.

An image made from a render of a 3D model would in fact be a raster graphic - so technically, you're not wrong, it just has a wider meaning :).digitalsoapbox2014-02-11 18:58:04
