Particles bug?

For questions about using Classic.

Whenever I create a particle object there is a split second trace of particles in direction to the first object. Is it a bug or am I doing something wrong?

I discovered this quite some time ago and brought it to attention. I thought it was fixed a long time ago in newer versions.

Which version of Construct are you using?

Im using the latest build, and setting enabled/ disabled isn't working.
That fixed it in the past, so yeah you have a bug there.
Who wants to add it to the bugtracker?

When we're talking particles and bugs. Try giving a particles object a negative rate. It'll crash Construct pretty hard. At least it does for me. In older builds a negative rate seems to have been treated correctly as 0.

PR I'll let you do the one on negative values.

Hmm, I have other experiences...

I'm working with 0.99.96 and setting the spray disabled/enabled works very well for me. Also before spawning another particle object setting the rate of the original to zero works fine too.
firework04.cap

The negative rate issue does not crash Construct, only the temp.exe, at least on my computer. It still needs to be corrected, just telling it to see if there are differences in Construct's behavior on different pc.
