I do have a question about your template, which I couldn't find an answer to:

Do you use a tilemap object? I am interested because I would like to create a game that utilizes the
EasyStar.js
plugin, and I am unsure if this would be compatible with your template.

Thanks!

@DatapawWolf, Thanks for your question!

The result of "generate" method is an 2D array of cells. Drawing methos is just for demonstration, you able to make another one! Generation and drawing are completely separate.

An answer:
Tilemap is a 2D array too, so yes, you can implement it with your own tilemap. But this template don't use tilemap. There is just a sprite with frames.

Hope, this help!

Can you modify your demo that the maze generates automatic start and end openings ? Can your maze generator create at least 1 start and end opening?

@stctr, you need an algorithm to find a way out?
I'll look what I can do.
