Physics problem (Passing through etc.)

Get help using Construct 2

Post » Sun Jan 22, 2012 6:33 pm

Hello,

I started working in Construct again but I have some trouble.

As you can see here: http://puu.sh/eeiZ

I'm working on a simple game with a forklift and you have to move some stuff around. Nothing too fancy, I just want to practice making stuff.

The problem is that the crates fall through my forklift even though I've set it up correctly (I think..), I've set the physics etc, collision boxes are adjusted but still it just falls through or shoves my forklift to the side.

If anyone could help, much appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Max

Post this CAPX in the Bug section. It seems to me an issue related to the boundig box (ie collision polygon) of the forktlift

Remove the platform behavior, it doesn't work well with physics.
Move the vehicle through forces instead.

I just removed the solid behavior and collisions worked.
If your vision so exceeds your ability, then look to something closer.
