Pixalated images...

Get help using Construct 2

Post » Mon Aug 19, 2013 12:35 am

Hello everyone,

In my game, I set the Layout size with a width of 1280 pixels and a height of 1280 pixels too. But I'm using a Windows size with a width of 300px and a height of 200px. When I'm designing my game, I see all the images are seeing great but if I run this layout all the images get pixalated and they look very blur.

What am I missing ?... or how can I clear my images ? (I'm using Inkscape to draw them as vector graphs and then I export them to PNG)

Thank you very much for reading.

You have to show us a Capx or AT LEAST a screenshot.

It could be low image resolution?

Weird browser behavior(try another one)?

Try to set Letterbox Scale as fullscreen method rather than letterbox Interger scale?

Compare Point vs Linear filtering?

There's quite many things that can be the reason.

Hello, thanks for your answer.

I think it's something about the PNG exportation of InkScape... I'm seeing all the exported images are blured on the bords if I make a zoom in construct2.

I'll search for the cause of this blur effect on the export PNG files.
Thanks a lot, now I know those properties you mentioned in your answer.
