Pixel Rounding Problem

Get help using Construct 2

Post » Thu Oct 10, 2013 12:25 am

Hi, Im making a game that requires very small pixel art. Everything is working great when I turn pixel rounding off, But when I turn it on the players movements are extremely jerky. That is the only thing I change. Is there anyway to fix this? With out the rounding, it seems like my artwork gets a little blurry from time to time.

Try turning pixel rounding off and set sampling to point.

That's just how it is with a low resolution and framerate independence. You can move your objects strictly by fps*dt but that's probably not an option.

Thanks, but I already have it set that way. I think what happens is when pixel rounding is off it just kind of jumps to the next spot.. Because of the size of the sprites it makes it look jerky.
