Platform enemies jumping when player jumps?

I'm making a platform game and the enemies I created jump when I push the jump button. I stole the snail enemies from the jungle tutorial as a place holder. Then I created a new enemy and gave it all the events and settings. The weird thing is that the snail enemies work fine but the new type I created all jump when my player jumps. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

Oh I forgot to mention. They don't do it every time I run the game! It almost seems random. They will be working fine but when I close the game out and reopen it without modifying the game at all, sometimes it they'll just jump whenever I push jump.

Did you set the value "Default control" to 0 for the snails?
Game design is all about decomposing the core of your game so it becomes simple instructions.
