That looks great pikus. This is a great use of 3d effects in a way that's perfect for a Construct game.

Thanks for sharing the art. It is very instructional. I've never drawn game art before, let alone put it all together to make a world. I'll definitely see if I can recreate your preview.

I don't know if I'm cut out to be an artist. But even if I can't create awesome looking art from scratch I can at least take awesome looking art and put it together. So I started designing a level from David's art. But I'm having a problem making the ground fill look realistic without looking to patterny. here's what I mean:



How can I use the squarish stone piece (or anything else for that matter) to easily create realistic looking ground fill?

some techniques are to rotate it around a bit randomly each time, and make some dark and light, and use different sizes. But yeah that particular image could be draw a lot better for that kind of thing...it was really just a random image heh

i did something for youtr tileset as well. I wos trying to keep it stylised. Can be used as platforms etc.

as far as i`m concerned, you could include thise gfx in construct platform game template. Altho background gfx made by david ( the one on the bottom of his small tileset ) could be just cleand out a little bit, so the shape itself would make more sens.
