Platformer Enemy Movements

Get help using Construct 2

Post » Thu Jan 17, 2013 4:05 am

Hello everyone

I actually just started using construct today and have been following Ashley's tutorial on making platform games (http://www.scirra.com/tutorials/37/beginners-guide-to-construct-2) ... however I'm having some difficulties programming the enemy movements. I have very little experience in programming and would really appreciate some help from more experienced individuals.

Here's a snapshot of my code thus far.

Also, if you know of any, I'm looking for a beginners guide to creative dialog and combat.

Thanks so much guys!

Thank you, but I was kinda hoping for tutorials. I'm a novice at programming and don't quite understand the ins and outs of how the code in these sample games work.

Perhaps you should practice how the events work, then you will master it.

Oh wow! This looks promising! I'll definitely check it out. I don't see any dialog at first glance. I don't suppose you know any good dialogue tutorials?
