Hey!

I got a simple question, I think..
Uhm. Yah.

I have a 2D "arena" with walls and stuff, but when I try to control the player, it won't move : /
I'm pretty sure it's fixed by one click or something, but I can't figure it out.

I've added solid to the "arena" and platform control and solid to the player.

Pleas ask if any questions.

So I found the problem, but I can't solve it : /
The collision polygon is set over the whole thing..

So how do I mask the parts I want? I only want to select the black parts as collision points > http://i.imgur.com/YbhnC.png

Cheers!

Add an invisible sprite and set the polygon to the whole sprite border. Then just cover all the black parts with the invisible sprite, stretching the sprite as needed. Of course it'll add another sprite instance but thats the only way I can think of.

just break it down into smaller rectangular blocks.

If you set the sampling mode to 'point', you can resize a 2x2 black sprite to any shape and it'll stay sharp.keepee2012-10-28 13:52:03
