Player Solid Collision?

Get help using Construct 2

Hi there i have a weird problem with a player/car collision mechanic.

ive set my player to solid and my car to solid in hopes of the player walking into the car and not moving any further because of the solid mechanic but it walks through the car, and when i enable car mechanics(car behavior) the player just pushes the car around? ive tried using physics behavior and that don't seem to help me. but when i use car as test and crash it into player it recognizes the solid mechanic. can anyone help me please

Give the player the "platform" behavior and "solid" just to the car. If I understood your problem right, that should work.
