This plugin had been deprecated. scenarioJ might be a better choice for external text script.

Note that this plugin only could be used at web exported, and node-webkit exported.

Sorry to revive an old thread. I love this plugin and it has helped me a lot. So, thanks!

However, I am experiencing an issue with getting a return value from a Construct 2 function in Lua. The first time it works perfectly, the second time and subsequent times it just returns "nil". I made this simple sample to illustrate the problem. It prints the values to the console. Am I doing something incorrectly?

Sorry I could not solve this bug, it might cause in luavm engine. And I find that it had been updated in its github. I will try to update to this new version first.

Thanks for taking a look.

For now, I think I can work around it by using Wait() in Lua, then in the Construct2 Function, run a Lua script to set a value . Then resume the Lua task and read the value. Not ideal but it should work!
