Hi. I have the same flickering video problem on some Safari Browsers on MAC. @pode suggested to use the code found here to request a full screen (full screen video is not flikering):

http://stackoverflow.com/questions/6039909/html5-full-screen-video/6039930#6039930

But i dont know how to insert the code into Constuct2.

Any idea of how to do it?

Many thanks rexrainbow for this plugin. It's so helpful to one of my current projects.
Still reading this thread and getting my head around it but just wanted to say that your contribution is very much appreciated.

So glad I found C2 and this community!

Ok, I'm having a problem.

Usually, after exporting a project with webkit I replace the ffmpegsumo.dll file on the resulting folder with the ffmpegsumo.dll file from Chorme. This way the video plugin works fine after exporting to .exe.

But now, with Construct 163, after exporting with webkit and replacing ffmpegsumo.dll, the game crashes when attempting to run. (without replacing the file the game runs but the plugin doesn't work)

I tried with the newest ffmpegsumo.dll and with and old one I've successfully used before. Same results.

Then, I updated to Construct 164.2. and replaced the file, same results.

Any advices?

Thanks for reading.

Hi all,
could I show video from an mjpeg ip camera?
setting the URL ( for example: http: //extcam-11.se.axis.com/axis-cgi/mjpg/video.cgi ) as source property doesn't work.
Thanks

I don't seem to be able to use this :/. I put a dropbox link to the video as the source, but when I try to run it in chrome, the screen is just white and in Firefox it says that filetype is not supported or the MIME type is not supported. Tried with both MP4 and OGG Theodora.
Am I doing anything wrong :/? Is there anything special I have to do with the video file?

@lele : I don't think the <video> tag is compatible with the MJPEG file format.
You need to retrieve it frame-by-frame and draw them on a <canvas>.

Does anyone have the link for the offline support FAQ?

The link in the thread just takes me back to the thread itself.
