shinkan: it works, but for me only from 0% opacity to 100% and by changing timedelta changes only speed. is it possible to change have it 10% and by mouse over change to 90% in about 1-2 seconds?joxer2011-06-30 13:23:11

use "clamp"
+ MouseKeyboard: Mouse is over Sprite
-> Sprite: Set opacity to clamp(Sprite.Opacity-100*TimeDelta, 10, 90)

+ MouseKeyboard: [negated] Mouse is over Sprite
-> Sprite: Set opacity to clamp(Sprite.Opacity+100*TimeDelta, 10, 90)
Clamp basically limits values

clamp(target, min, max)

thanks
I am still not convinced if I will use construct for my game. But I am trying to make something like "template" for point and click adventures. So I uploaded it at the beggining of this topic...
I am trying to learn arrays, ini and hashtables now...

I still cant find out how to transfer some information from one layout to another (example - if i pick object in one layout, on want to have it in inventory in another layout). i know array or ini file is good for it, I studied tutorials, but still dont understand it. is somewhere some easy simple step by step tutorial with example of array use? or just how to solve my problem :)
thanks

I could explain you that, but it was already explained very well over here:

now I feel really stupid :( I read that hash array topic 3 times and very slowly. I believe I understand something now. I believe I know what variable means and that array is a function how to save many variables. But when I tried to make a very simple use of array, I still dont know how to use it. I found here more array examples (with caps), but all of them are so complicated to me. Is there also some very easy step by step tutorial with as easy as possible example of array use? maybe just passing only one information from one layout to another or something like that...

what I know now, is that my adventure game must wait, I will try to make a very very simple game first, then something less simple and maybe after long time of learning I will be able to think again about making something complex as adventure game...

@joxer
It takes a wise person to realise that    Everyone wants to jump in and make the big epic game straight away, but the old adage 'you have to learn to walk before you can run' holds true here also.

Just keep asking questions, reading everything you can, and you'll soon get there zenox982011-07-02 15:04:51
