Possible early stable update

Discussion and feedback on Construct 2

That's like what the guy said to Alexander Graham Bell, "Show me the need to talk over a wire when we already have telegraph."

In other words, there is no demand, because there isn't much out there to build the audience.
Me and my friends play multiplayer games every Thursday. The choices are poor. Paradox2014-02-14 16:41:39

I still prefer local multiplayer with my friends. However, I have been wanting to make a game similar to Twinkle Star Sprites, and having online multiplayer would be a nice benefit :).

@ArcadEd

I have missed the memo about whether this multilayer will be local, online or both. Which of these is it?

@ArcadEd We are in the same room, we each have a separate PC. Mini LAN parties. However there's always at least one playing from elsewhere.Paradox2014-02-14 17:24:52

This is awesome! I can't wait to implement this into my game! I have been designing my game to support such a thing from the beginning, and the day has almost finally come :D
Here's a video of my game that I will be putting this in to if anyone is interested!:

As God once said, "Hopefully, this will have been worth the wait!".

@GameThirsty, it's for online multiplayer. You can already do local multiplayer with C2. By local, I mean on the same system with one screen :).

Whatdyaa mean there is no demand for multiplayer.

The moment I heard that @ashley and team are getting the multiplayer tested 2 days ago... already started prototyping a multiplayer game (currently local 4 player) and looking forward to using the MP release.

@ArcadEd

Ahh I see. I was slightly confused by what type of local multiplayer. I thought maybe over LAN like how Minecraft can be played.

Thanks for clarifying, I am happy with online multiplayer.

@Ashley

There was an issue with one of my titles running 5-10 FPS slower in the betas vs. the stable release when running on Wii U. I tried to go back to the stable release and export using HTML5 instead of Wii U but since I opened the project in the betas it won't let me go back. Also, I am not sure if this is a performance issue with Construct or the "Nintendo" tool that was just recently updated. If you have any questions, give me a shout out on the Nintendo side of things.

Thanks!
